Courses and Requirements
Please note that the study program will be subject to some changes. The structure of the 2nd year will differ, for the two curricula, starting from a.y. 2025-26. See the webpage on admissions for more information.
Classes start at the beginning of September. Attendance is mandatory. Students cannot attend the program by distance learning.
The program features two curricula (to be chosen when applying):
First year – a.y. 2025-26 (41th cycle)

- Exam for each course
- Participation to Statistics Seminars organized by the Department of Decision Sciences

Third year (39th cycle) - Fourth year (38th cycle) — a.y. 2025-26, Statistics track
- Study/research period at other Universities + TA/RA activities (optional)
- Participation in conferences
- Statistics Seminars organized by the Decision Sciences Department
- End of 3rd year: Submission of mid-term doctoral thesis (at least a first research paper is expected)
- End of 4th year: Thesis submission to external reviewers
- Thesis dissertation
