Master of Arts in Global Law for Organizations, Business Enterprises and Institutions
Overview
In the contemporary world, there is a growing demand for a new generation of global lawyers who possess a wide range of competences (including in environmental and social sustainability, artificial intelligence and data analysis) and can work with versatility and effectiveness in international organizational contexts, both in the public and private sectors.
The Master of Arts in Global Law for Organizations, Business Enterprises and Institutions is designed to prepare tomorrow’s legal experts to face this challenge by anticipating constantly evolving scenarios and trends. It offers a fully international legal education, integrated with other social sciences and focused primarily on regulation, governance and compliance. The courses, which are taught in English, delve into the decision-making systems, policies and regulatory standards of international organizations, regulatory bodies, and independent authorities, as well as the best practices and codes of conduct applied in the private sector on a global scale.
The aim is to train tomorrow’s legal experts with cross-disciplinary expertise in the processes of rule-making and policy design — including political processes — and methods for assessing their effectiveness, as well as risk management, in-house legal consulting and the development of procedures and strategies to ensure regulatory compliance.
Graduates of this program will be able to enter the job market in various legal roles, such as legal advisors, in-house lawyers or general counsel for companies, public entities, and international organizations; compliance officers and risk management experts, responsible for monitoring and ensuring regulatory compliance within public and private organizations; as well as policy advisors, legal analysts and governance strategists, contributing to the definition, implementation, and evaluation of legal and regulatory policies and strategies at both local and global levels.
