After Graduation
After this BSc program, most students continue their studies with a graduate program. This program may be an appropriate choice for students who would like to complete a master program focused on business analytics, data science, technology and innovation.
Students can also access the job market directly, in which case they may operate as data analysts, either as internal resources or as external consultants. They may initially support more experienced professionals, carrying out activities related to the collection, processing and analysis of large volumes of data, with the aim of producing timely and relevant information for decision-making purposes, including through quantitative and statistical approaches. Data may relate both to individual firms and institutions and to the economic and/or financial system.
Graduates may work at organizations operating at national, European and global levels, including:
- small, medium, and large enterprises, both private and public, engaged in the production and distribution of goods and services (including consulting firms), for activities related to data collection and processing in support of decision-making
- research bodies within public and private institutions and consulting firms, focused on the analysis and study of economic systems and markets in their various dimensions
- public and private financial institutions, for roles requiring high quantitative, statistical and computational competences to support market analysis, planning activities and strategic decision-making
