Study Abroad Programs

The MSc in International Management offers students different study abroad options, both for short periods (such as Exchange programs) and for longer periods (Double Degree and special programs). Some of these options can be chosen after enrollment, while others have to be selected at the time of application.

The special programs that must be selected during your online application are the following:

IM CEMS MIM is recognized as a one-of-a-kind global community, founded in 1988, bringing together the world’s best students, schools, alumni, and corporate and social partners. Admitted students will spend their first year at Bocconi University and one semester of their sophomore year at one of the premier universities in the CEMS alliance (33 schools across 6 continents).
IM Asia - China MIM is a Double Degree program with Fudan University, one of the top universities in Asia. Students attending this program will study at the Bocconi Milan campus in Italy during the first year and at the Fudan Shanghai campus in China in the second year. They will have the chance to live and study in one of the world’s most influential and rapidly evolving countries. Students will deepen their understanding of China and the global economy, acquiring the expertise and insights needed to start an international career.
IM Asia - DD ESSEC is a Double Degree program with ESSEC Business School, offering students the incredible opportunity to study at three different locations: the ESSEC Cergy campus in France, the ESSEC Singapore campus, and the Bocconi Milan campus in Italy. This unique format provides a comprehensive understanding of both Europe and Asia, allowing students to explore economic, political and management issues from diverse global perspectives. In addition to a rich mix of courses and internships, participants will gain valuable research experience while working on their thesis.

If you are attending IM Global Experience and IM Concentrations you have the opportunity to participate in an Exchange program, which will allow you to study abroad for one term at a top partner university. A few of our most prestigious Exchange partners include:

Double Degrees

If you are attending IM Concentrations, you can apply to participate in a Double Degree program. These programs allow you to study at Bocconi University and a second top business and economic schools and receive two diplomas, one from each University. You will spend the first academic year at Bocconi and the second academic year at a prestigious partner to broaden your knowledge regarding specific markets and to integrate your academic profile with a specialization in functional areas/industries.
