Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Bocconi is committed to building a university that values diversity, equity and inclusion. Enhancing diversity and inclusion is among the objectives outlined in Bocconi’s Strategic Plan 2026–2030, which sets out several operating goals in this area. These include promoting a strong sense of belonging, creating a fully accessible and inclusive University, fostering social mobility, pursuing gender equality and guaranteeing better work-life balance.

With students, faculty, staff and alumni from over 100 countries, diversity is central to Bocconi’s identity, enriching its global reputation and fostering a dynamic, inclusive environment. Ensuring equal opportunities for all – regardless of gender, identity, background or ability – strengthens the entire Bocconi community.

Francesco Billari, Rector
The Bocconi community is much more than a collection of students, faculty, staff and alumni: it is a living organism, growing and evolving through the interaction and commitment of each of its members. With a global vision and a concrete commitment to diversity, inclusion and wellbeing, the University continues to be a benchmark for anyone who wishes to make a difference. Each person who joins this community contributes to making Bocconi a place where higher education, research and humanity walk side by side, on a journey without boundaries.
