APPLICATION 

Only students enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of CLMG

2025/2026 Edition
 

From 13 to 28 November 2024 (11:59 pm)*. 
 

During the application, you can list up to all available destinations in order of preference.

The application is to be filled in at Punto Blu by the deadline. Students can choose their destinations, min. 1 up to all the available destinations, in order of preference. 
In order to complete the application, students must upload the following documents: 
 

  • Curriculum vitae in English
  • Language Certificates accepted until January 27, 2025 (11:59 pm) at Punto Blu

EVALUATION OF STUDENTS' DOSSIER , INTERVIEWS and TIMELINE
 

The evaluation of the students' dossier and interview is carried out by the Director of Integrated Master of Arts in Law School -or their delegates- and the Themis Program Coordinator. The interview will focus on the student's motivation and background and it constitutes an integral part of the selection process. The following elements will be evaluated: 
 

  • Fulfillment of academic and language requirements
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Previous overall experiences (study, work, personal, extracurricular, etc.)

End of January 2025/beginning of February: Applicants meeting the minimum requirements will receive an email with the time and date of the individual interview. Students failing to complete all the steps of the application (documents and interview) by the deadline will be excluded from the selection.

In case a candidate is not considered suitable for the program after the interview, he/she will not be selected regardless of the positioning in the ranking and the number of slots available.

 

LANGUAGES 
  • English Language Certificates C1 level accepted by Bocconi language center or

  • TOEFL iBT min 100 or IELTS min. 7 

    will be accepted at Punto Blu until January 27, 2025 (11:59 pm) at Punto Blu*. The certificates must be valid at the time of the application and departure for Themis term abroad.

N.B. English proficiency is a mandatory requirement for participation in the Themis program selection. Students applying for Themis who do not have a valid English Language Certificate by January 27, 2025 will be automatically excluded from the Themis program selection. 


 

SELECTION RESULTS and CONFIRMATION 

Selection results by end of February. Confirmation within two days from the publication of the result by paying and administrative contribution of 2000 €. 
 

 

SPECIAL WARNINGS:

  • You will be notified of the results of the selection by the end of February, from the date of the publication of the rankings. You will have two days' time both to confirm your participation in the program and to pay the THEMIS administrative contribution required.
  • We strongly recommend checking that you have completed the application, saved all the entered data, uploaded all the requested documents, and printed the application receipt. Plan your application carefully since neither late applications nor any modification to the application can be accepted by the system or by the Themis Office after the deadline.
  • If you have applied for Themis in the 3rd year and you are not selected, you will have the possibility to apply again in the 4th year.
  • If you are selected for Themis and you do not accept the slot you have been assigned to, you will be automatically excluded from the current program, you will not be assigned to any other destination and you will not be able to apply again for Themis.
  • If you are selected for Themis and you accept the slot you have been assigned to and then you decide to withdraw, you will not be allowed either to apply for any further selection of the Themis and Exchange Programs or to apply as a Free-Mover.
  • Students can apply at the same time for Themis, Law Double Degree (4th-year students only) and the Exchange Program. Themis application results will be published right after Double Degree rankings and before those of the Exchange Program. If you are selected for Themis and you accept the slot you have been assigned to, your application for the Exchange Program will be automatically canceled. If you are selected for Themis and you do not accept the slot you have been assigned to, your application for the Exchange Program will still be valid.
