In-Company Training Graduate Borsa Italiana
EntER Center for Research on Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurs (Bocconi University) and the Italian Stock Exchange (London Stock Exchange Group), as part of a three-year project aimed at promoting the culture of IPO (Initial Public Offering) in Italy, offer to 20 students currently enrolled at Bocconi University Master of Science Programs in Management, International Management, Amministrazione, Finanza Aziendale e Controllo, Accounting, Control and Financial Management, Economia e Management delle Istituzioni e dei Mercati Finanziari and Finance, , the opportunity to be involved in the development of business-cases focused on some Italian listed companies.
The project will have a maximum duration of five months (from March to July 2011).
Candidates, organized in teams of 4 people, will be involved in the following activities:
- meetings with the management and/or the ownership of the target companies
- data collection and processing
- business-case preparation (according to the guidelines defined by the project leader)
The calendar of activities will be defined by the project leader in agreement with the representatives of the companies involved in the project. Students are expected to attend:
- meetings with managers and/or owners of the target companies
- WIP meetings with the project leader
- event devoted to the presentation of the business-cases.
The best business-case will be selected and awarded by a jury composed of representatives of the companies involved in the project and of professionals of the Italian Stock Exchange and of the Bocconi University.
Ideal candidates have an excellent academic curriculum focused on corporate finance and business-management. Prerequisite is the deep knowledge of the Office Package; strong quantitative and interpersonal skills as well as precision and reliability complete the profile.
