Max Ernst - Palazzo Reale

Thanks to the collaboration between Milan City Council - Culture and Electa, Palazzo Reale opens its doors to an exhibition dedicated to Max Ernst, which will be open in Milan from 4th October 2022 until 26th February 2023.
This will be the first retrospective in Italy dedicated to this German artist, later naturalised French and American, whose artistic production - close to Surrealism - ranges widely both in the themes treated, often full of ironic allusions, and in the means used, going from paintings to sculptures, from collages to drawings, illustrated books and even jewellery.

The guided tour will be a unique opportunity to fully enter the fascinating world of Max Ernst, made up of games of perception and enigmas that are only apparently impenetrable: our highly trained professional guides will accompany you on this colourful journey.
