The Master in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management is designed to meet the needs of:
- economics graduates who wish to develop and strengthen their applied skills in quantitative finance and risk management;
- graduates from non-economics quantitative disciplines such as mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering or computer science, who may not have a specific training in economics or finance but aim to expand their expertise in these areas;
- young professionals with limited working experience, who seek to build strong analytical and practical foundations for a career in finance.
We look for talented and motivated individuals who aspire to build a career in applied finance and are ready to commit to 12 months of intensive and challenging study to achieve this goal.
Objectives
The mission of Mafinrisk is to create fully independent specialists who combine strong quantitative expertise with operational and institutional knowledge. The program provides solid technical skills complemented by courses that address the broader economic and institutional aspects of modern finance.
Mafinrisk is particularly suited for those who aim to wok - or are already working - in areas such as:
- Capital markets, sales and trading;
- Risk control and risk management;
- Investment management and hedge funds;
- New product design and structuring;
- Derivatives pricing, trading and risk management;
- Financial modelling.
By combining a solid foundation in theory with practical knowledge and advanced technical skills, the program enables participants to navigate the complexities of modern quantitative finance.
