Objectives
The mission of Mafinrisk is to create fully independent specialists who combine strong quantitative expertise with operational skills, and institutional knowledge. The program provides practical expertise in financial modelling, data analysis, and the use of modern computational tools, along with a deep understanding of the institutional and economic framework of financial markets. By bridging theory and practice, Mafinrisk prepares participants to succeed in the financial industry with strong analytical and professional skills. 

Mafinrisk is particularly relevant for those aiming to build a career in: 

  • Investment management;
  • Risk control and risk management;
  • Financial modelling;
  • New product design and structuring;
  • Derivatives pricing and trading;
  • Sales and trading on capital markets. 

 

Candidate profile 
Mafinrisk is designed to meet the needs of:

  • economics graduates who wish to develop and strengthen their applied skills in quantitative finance and risk management;
  • graduates from non-economics quantitative disciplines such as mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering or computer science, who may not have a specific training in economics or finance but aim to expand their expertise in these areas;
  • young professionals with limited working experience, who seek to build strong analytical and practical foundations for a career in finance. 

We look for talented and motivated individuals, fluent in English, who aspire to build a career in applied finance and are ready to commit to 12 months of intensive and challenging study to achieve this goal.
