In-Company Training abroad New York - Law (On-site)
Career Services is pleased to inform you that we have set up an In-Company Training in New York — Law, in collaboration with Tarter Krinsky&Drogin LLP, Chiomenti Law Firm LLC, Kirkland&Ellis LLP, and Biederman Hoenig Semprevivo (tbc).
The program will include:
- Company presentations
- Workshops / Panels with Junior and Senior professionals
- Q&A sessions and career opportunities
The students will spend half a day and/or a full day in each of the Law Firms previously mentioned.
The event will be held on-site in New York from April 28th to May 2nd, 2024.
Participants have to reach New York on their own.
Accommodation expenses will be covered by the University.
Travel expenses shall be borne by participants, who are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
Participants are also responsible for the following costs:
- Visa fees to enter the country of destination (when required)
- Health insurance (when required)
- Meals and extra costs (when not included)
Application details:
The program is dedicated to 16 students with a strong interest in Law, fluent in English, curious, and open-minded.
Eligibility:
- 4th and 5th-year students that are regularly enrolled in the Bocconi Master of Arts Degree Course in Law in the a.y. 2023-24
GPA: minimum 22/30 (average weighted on credits).
Language requirements:
Applicants whose native tongue is not English have to prove a good knowledge of the English language through one of the following options:
- Bocconi English exam of Level C1
- Other certificates accepted by Bocconi Language Center at the C1 level (for the list of the certificates accepted and correspondent level, refer to the table)

The deadline for applications is on Monday, 29 January, 2024 at 01:00 pm (CET)

Students' responsibility
Before applying, please note that it is the students' responsibility to:
- Verify personally, with the authorities of the host country, the suitable procedures for obtaining the appropriate visa, if required, and any other necessary documentation in full compliance with local laws. All formalities relating to visas and other documents required to enter the country are the responsibility of the student.
- Read the “Bocconi Students Travel Risk Policy” (available on yoU@B), and comply with the risk mitigation measures suggested.
- Access, through yoU@B diary, the Travel Risk Awareness Elearning, and the International SOS Member’s portal, which includes Country Guides and Travel Security and Medical Risk Ratings.
- Check and follow all the travel recommendations of your Country’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International SOS.
- Check all the Covid-19 Procedures to enter the host country and re-enter your home country.
Please, be also aware that Bocconi University reserves the right to cancel the program if exceptional circumstances occur before or during the carrying out of the program.
Travel and health risks can rapidly change and lead Bocconi University and hosting Institutions/Companies or Countries to increase travel and health restrictions. In any case, Bocconi University does not guarantee that the In-Company Training will take place if the general conditions do not safeguard the well-being and safety of students.
