Payments made by the student are never refunded except in the cases listed below:
Refund of First Instalment – Advance Payment for Freshmen a.y. 2025–2026
Withdrawal from Studies
Only first-year students enrolled in a.y. 2025–2026 who submit a formal withdrawal request within the deadlines and according to the procedures published (Undergraduate; Graduate) may apply for a refund of the first instalment – advance payment.
Refunds are generally processed within three months from the date of the request.
100% Exemption – Regularly Enrolled Students a.y. 2025–2026 (Freshmen and Subsequent Years)
- The refund of the first instalment - Advance payment for students eligible for the ISU Bocconi Scholarship (recipients and non-recipients) and for students granted a 100% need-based tuition waiver will be processed by December 2025. The refund will cover the entire amount of the first instalment - advance payment paid, including the regional tax.
- The refund of the first instalment - Advance payment for students granted a 100% merit-based tuition waiver will be processed by January 2026.
- The refund of the first instalment - Advance payment for students with disabilities, i.e. those recognized as disabled under Law no. 104 of February 5, 1992, or with a disability level equal to or greater than 66%, who are entitled to a full exemption from tuition and academic fees, will be processed by December 2025.
Refund of First Instalment (Adavnce Payment and adjustment) for Freshmen a.y. 2025–2026
The refund of the first instalment (Advance payment and adjustment) is exceptionally granted to first-year students enrolled in a.y. 2025–2026 who withdraw from studies exclusively for one of the following reasons:
- Failure to obtain a bachelor’s degree for students conditionally admitted to graduate programs;
- Failure to obtain a visa (duly requested by the student) from the competent diplomatic authorities for reasons beyond the student’s control (applicable to undergraduate, Law program, and graduate students).
The refund is not automatically granted but must be requested at the same time as the withdrawal application (Undergraduate; Graduate).
Refund of the Security Deposit
For information on the refund of the security deposit paid to secure housing, students are invited to consult the published regulations.
Payment of Refunds
Refunds are made exclusively to an Italian bank account held or jointly held by the student and indicated in Punto Blu.
Students are therefore advised to update their bank details in accordance with the requirements specified in the withdrawal applications and/or in the section Home > Personal Data > Refund Information available in the you@B — Punto Blu agenda, no later than September 30, 2025.
