Frank Raes

He obtained his PhD at the University of Ghent (Belgium), and completed post-doctoral research at the University of California Los Angeles (US). He is specialized in climate change and science-policy interactions. Since 1999, he has headed the Climate Change and Air Quality Unit at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. His team supports in particular the development of integrated environmental EU policies.
