Program Structure



 

In the first year, you will acquire a solid foundation in economic and management theory, analytical tools, and other methodologies to understand:

  • technology evolution and markets for technology
  • innovation processes within and outside firms
  • intellectual property rights and competition
  • how innovative entrepreneurs may obtain financing
  • how to develop, experiment with and choose among alternative strategies
  • how firms use technology and innovation to position themselves
    strategically

The courses touch on many different areas: microeconomics, management, strategy, organization theory, law, history, data management and data visualization, econometrics.


In the second year, you can customize your study plan based on your interests. You can choose among four different majors to look more deeply into such areas as: digital platforms, supply chain management, big data and information systems, green management and sustainability, entrepreneurship and business planning, the circular economy, the sharing economy, organizing innovation within and outside the firm.
