B4i – Bocconi for Innovation, the startup accelerator of Bocconi University, has officially launched the 13th edition of its Startup Call. Applications are open until January 7 for the Pre-Acceleration and Acceleration programs, which will begin on March 7 and 23, respectively.

Since its launch in March 2020, B4i has received more than 4,160 applications and supported 259 startups. Over the past four years, these startups have raised over €59 million and created more than 250 jobs.

During the programs, participants gain access to both Italian and international venture capitalists and can boost their visibility through events organized by B4i and Bocconi University. Startups can apply for either the Acceleration or Pre-Acceleration program, depending on their stage of development.

Pre-Acceleration Program
This is a 3-month online program compatible with other work or study commitments. It includes 11 mandatory Saturday morning workshops (a total of 55 hours) and access to tailored mentorship based on the founders' specific needs. The program runs from March 7, 2026, to June 20, 2026.

Acceleration Program
This is a 4-month full-time program based in Milan, with mandatory in-person participation. Startups receive dedicated office space and daily support from the B4i team. The program, which runs from March 23, 2026, to June 2026, offers legal support, business development assistance, marketing and UX/UI strategy consulting, and access to a network of sector experts and advisors.
B4i also invests €80,000 in each selected startup via a convertible note and supports fundraising efforts. [More info and eligibility criteria here.]

How to Apply
Applicants must propose innovative solutions to real-world problems. The Unique Selling Proposition (USP) must clearly differentiate the startup from competitors. The team is also a crucial factor: B4i assesses each member’s individual strengths and how complementary the team is as a whole.

To support the application process, a complete guide and recommendations on how to fill in the application and structure the pitch are available.

To better understand the programs, B4i’s Pre-Acceleration and Acceleration teams will host a live Q&A webinar two Q&A webinars, scheduled for November 25 and December 15, 2025. Participation is free upon registration.
