Capital Markets: Five Bocconi Professors appointed to the Technical-Scientific Council

The body supports the Steering Committee established at the Ministry of Economy and Finance

Five Bocconi University professors, Filippo Annunziata, Stefano Caselli, Francesco Mucciarelli, Giovanni Strampelli and Marco Ventoruzzo, are among the members of the Technical-Scientific Council of the Steering Committee for the strategic coordination of the capital market, established by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The Technical-Scientific Council assists the Steering Committee, which is responsible for strategic coordination and for defining policies and guidelines to enhance and develop capital markets.

The Council, whose mandate runs until October 1, 2028, is tasked with:

· Carrying out research, study, and analysis on the national financial market system and other European markets;

· Identifying potential areas of intervention to promote the development of the capital market;

· Contributing to the drafting of guidelines for a national plan of policies and strategic initiatives to enhance and develop the capital market.

The members, appointed by decree of the Minister of Economy and Finance upon the proposal of the Director General of the Steering Committee’s technical structure, come from diverse backgrounds: judges, State attorneys, university professors, and experts with proven specialization in financial market disciplines.

Members of the Technical-Scientific Council do not receive any remuneration, allowances, attendance fees, expense reimbursements, or other forms of compensation.
