Twenty New Entries for the Faculty 2012-2013

The international recruitment enhances Università Bocconi's research and teaching

With the new academic year the team of Bocconi's professors grows in names and precious skills. Twenty new professors join Bocconi faculty from September 2012 in order to contribute to the growing international competitiveness of the University. In the name of the international recruitment, Bocconi is ready to welcome new professors from the most eminent universities of Europe and USA. All the eight departments of Università Bocconi will strengthen their ranks thanks to the arrival of new full, associate and assistant professors: the Department of Economics is ahead with five new entries, then three new entries for the departments of Management and Technology, Legal Studies and Policy Analysis and Public Management, two new entries for the departments of Marketing and Finance and one for Accounting and Decision Sciences.

The recruitment campaign from the main international universities in September 2012 will bring to Bocconi: Andrea Fosfuri, full professor at the Department of Management and Technology from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid; Nicola Gennaioli, full professor at the Department of Finance from Universitat Pompeu Fabra; Fabrizio Perri, full professor who, together with Alessandra Fogli, associate professor, arrives the Department of Economics from University of Minnesota; Valentina Bosetti, another associate professor at the Department of Economics from Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei; Gaia Rubera, associate professor at the Department of Marketing from Michigan State University; Valentino Larcinese, in 2012-2013 visiting professor and from 2013-2014 associate professor at the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management from London Business School; Mario Daniele Amore, assistant professor at the Department of Management and Technology from Copenhagen Business School; Leonardo Borlini, assistant professor at the Department of Legal Studies from Paolo Baffi Centre; Maria Cucciniello, assistant professor at the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management from University of Edinburgh; Marcello Gaboardi, assistant professor at the Department of Legal Studies from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore; Luigi Iovino, assistant professor at the Department of Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Julien Jourdan, assistant professor at the Department of Management and Technology from Imperial College London; Simone Lonati, assistant professor at the Department of Legal Studies from Università degli Studi di Pavia; Alessia Melegaro, assistant professor at the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management from Dondena centre; Simone Padoan, assistant professor at the Department of Decision Sciences from Università degli Studi di Padova; Federico Rossi, assistant professor at the Department of Marketing from Kenan-Flagler Business School; Nicolas Serrano-Velarde, assistant professor at the Department of Finance from Oxford University; Gianfranco Siciliano, assistant professor at the Department of Accounting from Duke University and Diego Ubfal, assistant professor at the Department of Economics from University of California.
