Fabrizio Perri, an Expert in Risk Sharing from Minnesota
Fabrizio Perri becomes full professor at the Department of Economics in the academic year 2012-2013. A consultant of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Perri comes from University of Minnesota, where he was also placement director of the PhD program since 2007. Previously he was full associate professor of economics at New York University.
A graduate in Economic and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi, Perri obtained a PhD in economics from University of Pennsylvania in 1999 with the dissertation Topics in Risk Sharing and Macroeconomics. His research concerns macroeconomics, international macroeconomics and inequality. He received several research grants, the last of whom by the National Science Foundation for the years 2008-2010. He is a member of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and of the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) and is part of the editorial board of American Economic Review, Quantitative Economics and Review of Economic Dynamics.
