Results

The Admissions Committee evaluates the complete applicants’ profiles by considering all the documents uploaded to the Apply2B portal, the test performance (if required), and the places available in the selection round for the programs chosen by the candidates.
According to the timeline established for the selection round, candidates will be informed of their results via email. The outcome of the selection process can be one of the following: admission, non-admission, or stand by/waiting list.

Merit Award Scholarships 

Admission and Merit Award assignments are usually released at the same time. The assignment will be communicated only to the Awardees. The decision is final and cannot be appealed.

Admitted students will receive a conditional offer, which will only be confirmed upon fulfillment of the following conditions:

  • Meeting all mandatory curricular requirements
  • Completing the enrollment application within the specified deadlines

Failure to meet these conditions or to finalize enrollment by the stated deadlines will result in the withdrawal of the admission offer.

"Non-admission" means that the Admissions Committee has evaluated the application based on the criteria established for the specific round and applicant category. Applications are assessed through a holistic process that considers all elements submitted and are compared with the profiles of other applicants applying in the same round and for the same programs.

If you are not admitted in your first application attempt, you have the opportunity to apply once more during the same academic year. Please note the following:

  • A maximum of two applications per academic year is allowed. Any additional applications will not be considered.
  • For the second application to be reviewed, at least one aspect must differ from the initial submission (e.g., improved test scores, changes in program choices, etc.).

 

 

 

Enrollment

To confirm your admission to Bocconi University, you must:

  • Complete the enrollment procedure on the "Apply2B" portal
  • Pay the first installment – advance payment (€3,640.00 – TBC)
  • Only for students admitted to special programs (IM CEMS MIM, IM Asia - China MIM, Essec-Bocconi DD, IM DD ESSEC Luxury): pay the specific Administrative Contribution via the Bocconi Store
    • €2,500.00 for IM CEMS MIM
    • €2,000.00 for the other programs

All of the above must be completed within the deadlines indicated in the table below.

The first installment-advance payment, in compliance with the former article 27 of R.D. 1269/1938, cannot be reimbursed. The reimbursement is only possible under special conditions, indicated in the “Withdrawal from studies and reimbursement of the first installment/advance payment” section.

To access the Bocconi MSc programs, international applicants must obtain a First Cycle Bachelor's degree — valid and recognized — by October 2026.

For International candidates admitted to the IM Asia China MIM program, it is necessary to obtain a Bachelor's degree by the end of June 2026.

Failure to satisfy the above-mentioned conditions by the required deadline will entail revocation of the admission and, as a result, the cancellation of the enrollment.

 

In case of admission, all international applicants are required to meet specific language requirements in order to complete their enrollment.

When filling out the online application, candidates must indicate whether they have already fulfilled the language requirement or intend to obtain the necessary certification by the established deadline.

To confirm their offer, applicants must provide valid proof of meeting the language requirement by the enrollment deadline and, in any case, no later than 30 June 2026. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of enrollment.

 

Certifications and qualifications accepted for English Level B2.

 

Students admitted to the IM CEMS MIM, IM Asia – Double Degree Bocconi-ESSEC, IM DD ESSEC Luxury, Finance Global Experience, and IM Global Experience programs must upload valid proof of the language requirement in the designated area of the online enrollment application by the end of July 2026.

Students admitted to the LSE-Bocconi and SciencesPo-Bocconi Double Degree programs should refer to the specific enrollment procedures described in the Focus on area.
Finance Global Experience and IM Global Experience students must also follow dedicated deadlines and procedures.

Failure to meet any of the above conditions by the relevant deadlines will lead to the revocation of admission and cancellation of enrollment.

Transfer students are applicants who are currently enrolled in — or have already completed — a Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree at a university other than Bocconi, in Italy or abroad.

Transfer students follow the same admission process as all other applicants up to the enrollment stage. Please note that university transcripts are not taken into consideration during the selection process.

Once admitted, transfer students are enrolled in the first year of the program. They may choose whether or not to request the recognition of exams taken at their previous university.

WITHDRAWAL BY OCTOBER 2026 (TBC)
 

The following information is valid only for students enrolled in their 1st year of a program (students enrolled in their 2nd year onwards are kindly invited to contact the “Academic Affairs Desk”).

Students who decide to withdraw from Bocconi, within this date, must send an email to rper@unibocconi.it:

  • declaring their intention to withdraw from studies
  • attaching a valid ID/passport
  • attaching the appropriate withdrawal form (available in the Download area), duly filled out
  • indicating as a subject: “Withdrawal Full Name – User ID number (3xxxxxx), Application code  ( B0xxx)”

 The Admissions Office will respond by email confirming the withdrawal from studies.


REIMBURSEMENT OF THE FIRST INSTALLMENT/ADVANCED PAYMENT

The reimbursement of the first installment/advance payment is only possible under special conditions and by specific deadlines. Check how to request the reimbursement of the first installment/advanced payment (Information will be available shortly)

 


WITHDRAWAL AFTER OCTOBER 2026 
 

Starting from this date, students wishing to withdraw are required to submit their request to the Academic Affairs Desk.

To finalize your enrollment at Bocconi, if you have non-EU citizenship, you are required to obtain a student visa and a Permit of Stay.
