• Launch of the Business Case: “Build a product recommender system combining images and descriptions”: in alignment with Steve Jobs' insightful perspective that "People don't know what they want until you show it to them" in Armani we work on innovative solutions for enhancing the discoverability of products.  The goal of our recommendation engines is presenting customers with options they may not have previously considered and offering an enriched and personalized shopping experience In this project, you can apply AI state-of-art approaches on different type of data about our products, such as images, textual descriptions, and other structured information. Through this research initiative, you can contribute to generate valuable insights to the evolution of Armani e-commerce applications. Participants will be divided into groups and work on the case until March 19^th 2024

Participation criteria

Registration is required to participate. To register, look for the project in yoU@B > Career Service > Appointments.

Registration
When registering, you will be required to upload your CV in PDF format, which will then be shared with the company, in compliance with GDPR policies. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, while guaranteeing a balanced number of men and women participants.
Deadline: 6 February, 1pm

• Registration will be open until the deadline or until the maximum number of participants has been reached. If spots are no longer available, check the page periodically because slots may become available.
• After all spots have been filled, you can send an email to incompanytraining@unibocconi.it, attaching your CV and expressing your interest in participating in the program. These applications will be placed on a Waiting List and interested students will be contacted in the order the emails were received.
• If you are no longer able to participate, please cancel your registration before the deadline (by clicking on “my registrations”) so that the slot can be made available to other students. To cancel after the registration deadline, please write to: incompanytraining@unibocconi.it.

After registrations have closed, students who have registered correctly will receive a registration confirmation email for confirming their participation in the activity.
