Professor Stefano Caselli welcomes you

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 47th PIM Conference at Bocconi.

For many generations, Milan has been the birthplace of vibrant new ideas about fashion, art, industry, and finance. Italy's financial capital is a blend of history and modernity, towering structures and picturesque parks, exclusive performances, and free concerts and events. 

This year we will meet in new way, in response to the challenges that these unprecedented times have brought. We will offer you the “Bocconi experience” with the support of technology, giving you a taste of Milano and of Bocconi Urban Campus through a set of digital tools, virtually hosting you in our brand new campus. 

Since its inception in 1902, Bocconi has stood for liberalism, pluralism, and social and economic progress, conceiving higher education as a continuous process that spans the entire professional life of an individual, and promoting both economic advancement and civic values. 

Today, Bocconi is a research university of international standing in business, economics, and law, constantly interacting with the business and economic environment to assess new issues, implement new techniques, and start new research endeavors.
