Vedaschi, Pollicino e Frosini in Mexico at the Congress of Constitutional Law Scholars

The three Bocconians presented their studies at the World Congress of the International Association of Constitutional Law

The Public law area of the Department of Law of Bocconi participated in force at the recent World Congress of the International Association of Constitutional Law, held in Mexico City from December 6 to 10, with three components presenting their recent studies. The congress, titled 'Constitutions and principles', saw 700 academics participating from 70 countries.

Arianna Vedaschi, professor of Comparative Public Law, presented her paper 'Has the balancing of rights given way to a hierarchy of values' on international terrorism and relative legislation, , Oreste Pollicino, professor of Comparative Public Law, 'Digito ergo sum: File sharing between copyright protection and freedom of speech' (coauthored with Enrico Bonadio, lecturer in Intellectual Property Law, The City Law School, City University) and Justin Orlando Frosini, lecturer in Public Law, his paper 'The role of preambles in establishing new trends in Latin American constitutional law'.

The International Association of Constitutional Law, founded in 1981, is the most important international association of scholars of constitutional law and this was the eight edition of its congress.
