Three Series of Seminars on Working Life
Three series of seminars to address different aspects and moments of working life, be it career in business or self-employment : the BAA Career Advice people conceived them as part of the training and support dedicated to members of the association. The first of the three cycles is devoted to work in a company. It starts with preparation for a job interview ( the upcoming events are on 18 February in Lugano, 26 February in Genoa and 20 March in Geneva ), it goes on to cover career setup and development (the first meeting on 12 March in Frankfurt ) and will address the issue of outplacement and tips to improve your situation as a function of a repositioning (12 March in Milan) . To further enhance their employability , a 27 February meeting is focused on the banking sector , and another on 5 March on strategies to present yourself in the best way to companies (held in Milan and also broadcast via streaming). Concerning self-employment , at the meeting on how to build an entrepreneurial career held in January in Milan, Career Advice will follow in April with an event that will put managers and entrepreneurs face to face to stimulate the exchange of experiences between the two worlds. The third and final round of seminars, still under development , is intended to guide the design of an effective and productive system of networking . "We designed a structured path over time to support the development of the careers of our alumni , paying attention to building their employability and professional identity , thanks to the support of alumni volunteers and SDA Bocconi ," says Giovanni Mocchi , vice president of Zucchetti Group and adviser to the BAA career area . " Thus, through ad hoc seminars touring the country ( some also broadcast in streaming) , a proposal for a mentoring to enhance the experience of our alumni who are executives and other tools, we are able to provide our members tangible aid in the management of their professional lives .
