Rediscover the Classics of Law
Based on an idea of Cesare Cavallini and Fabrizio Fracchia, the initiative will involve young scholars of the Law Department Angelo Sraffa, as well as the influential authors of certain books that represent classics of law science.
"The aim is to re-discuss works that have represented and still represent milestones of the various branches of the law", explains Fracchia. "Only the awareness of our cultural roots can put us in position of understanding the present".
The first meeting, scheduled for the 18th of May, will address the book Il silenzio della pubblica amministrazione by Franco Gaetano Scoca, published by Giuffrè in 1971 (discussants Miriam Allena and Scilla Vernile), while the next September a classic of Civil Procedure Law is due to be presented.
