, by Andrea Celauro, translated by Alex Foti
Digital banking, manufacturing 4.0, digital transformation and sharing economy are the themes of fifth edition of the annual reunion of MBA students and alumni. Among the speakers, Marco Sala, CEO of IGT Group, and Roberto Cingolani, Scientific Director of the Italian Institute of Technology

The 2016 edition of the MBA Reunion will be completely devoted to discussing digital innovation. From May 20 to May 22, participants from the 18 classes invited, starting with the current one back to the initial class of 1976, will gather to discuss their professional experiences and keep abreast of the latest developments in finance, industry and the digital economy, in the spirit of continuous education that characterizes Bocconi.

The reunion will be opened on Saturday the 21st by the speech of Marco Sala, CEO of IGT Group, followed by three sessions on how digital is changing banking (held by Stefano Caselli), manufacturing 4.0 (Alberto Grando) and how business leadership and organization must adapt to the digital revolution (Markus Venzin). This will be followed by a plenary session, moderated by Ferdinando Pennarola, debating the sharing economy. The latter will see two guests from two companies delivering sharing economy services: Thomas Beermann, CEO Europe of Car2Go, and Matteo Stifanelli, CEO Italy of Airbnb. The day will be concluded by Roberto Cingolani, Scientific Director of IIT.
But the MBA Reunion is not all about learning: it's social network and leisurely activities, such as Friday's welcome party, Saturday's gala dinner, and Sunday's Porsche Driving Day at Quattroruote Racing Circuit of Vairano di Vidigulfo (Pv); it's also the occasion to give by supporting the MBA Reunion Scholarship fund.

"The Reunion is about showing pride in the values of merit and solidarity of our Alma Mater," Riccardo Monti, president of the Bocconi Alumni Association (BAA) explains. "Thanks to the support of alumni from previous MBA classes, Angeline Chen and Juan Sebastián Marin Ramirez received scholarships to attend the full-time MBA program, and another candidate is being selected. We strongly believe in our common roots and we want this reunion to be the best opportunity to share the pleasure of being part of the same community and doing everything possible to support it."
