, by Andrea Costa
Presented by the International Society for Analysis, its Applications and Computation, the award celebrates excellence in early-career research

Elia Bruè (Bocconi Department of Decision Sciences) has been named the recipient of the ISAAC Award for Young Researchers, presented during the 15th Congress of the International Society for Analysis, its Applications and Computation, held in late July at Nazarbayev University in Astana (Kazakhstan).

The ISAAC Award is given to early-career mathematicians who have made significant contributions to the field of mathematical analysis.

Founded in 1997, ISAAC is a scientific society that promotes research and collaboration in analysis and its applications across mathematics, science, and engineering. Its biennial congress gathers researchers from around the world to exchange ideas and present new results.

This year’s congress, the first hosted in Central Asia, welcomed over 700 participants and highlighted recent advances in areas ranging from pure analysis to applications in fields such as artificial intelligence and biology.
