Play it Loud a journey through notable compositions of the 20th century, Thursday 12 February at 9 p.m. in the Aula Magna, Via Roentgen 1

The latest instalment of Isole Sonore, the music series created by Bocconi in collaboration with Yamaha Music Europe, will be held on Thursday, 12 February, starting at 9 p.m. in the Aula Magna at Via Roentgen 1 (free admission until full capacity is reached).

It will be a journey through unique 20th-century compositions, with the PLAY IT LOUD! programme showcasing the power of two pianos in some of the most interesting pieces by some of the most renowned composers on the international scene.

Elena Talarico and Francesco Zago founded KUBIN in 2016, a duo dedicated to contemporary and 20th-century music. The name is inspired by the Austrian artist and writer Alfred Kubin, author of the visionary Die andere Seite (The Other Side). The ensemble, originally for piano and electric guitar, also tackles the repertoire for four hands and two pianos.
