The program of PLAY IT LOUD! presents a journey through remarkable twentieth-century compositions, unleashing the power of two pianos in some of the most fascinating works by leading composers of the international scene.

In 2016 Elena Talarico and Francesco Zago founded KUBIN, a duo dedicated to twentieth-century and contemporary music. The name is inspired by the Austrian artist and writer Alfred Kubin, author of the visionary Die andere Seite. Originally conceived for piano and electric guitar, the duo also explores the repertoire for four hands and for two pianos.
