BWell: An October Dedicated to the Bocconi Community’s Wellbeing

, by Andrea Celauro
The inaugural edition runs from October 6 to 29, bringing together counseling, sport, meditation and training to promote self-care and mental health

Taking care of our wellbeing also means finding time to pause, connect with others and seek support. This is the idea behind BWell, which will engage the Bocconi community in a program of activities from October 6 to 29, coinciding with the World Mental Health Day on October 10.

The program combines activities open to the entire community with sessions for students, faculty and staff. On October 9, highlights include a meditation session with Daniel Lumera and Felicia Cigorescu and the Crazy Challenge four-team tournament at the Arena Sport Center, featuring Italy’s Crazy for Football national team. Yoga, wellbeing reading sessions and student workshops on anxiety and relationships round out the program.

On October 15, Alberto Pellai will meet with staff and faculty to explore how adults can support young people. Further events include staff training sessions and a webinar on managing stress.

BWell will also offer an opportunity to learn about the psychological support services available throughout the year, through walk-in counseling sessions requiring no appointment.
