Discover Bocconi Workshops at MEETmeTonight 2025
Have you ever wondered how much our daily actions could affect the future of the planet? Or how we could produce and share energy more sustainably? Next September 26 and 27 at MEETmeTonight 2025 (at the Università Statale, Via Festa del Perdono) you can find out together with Bocconi, participating in two workshops that blend play, science and curiosity.
"Sustainability is not a game"
Fully 90 percent of the toys produced in the world are made of plastic, a thought-provoking figure. In this workshop, designed for children and families, you will discover what lies behind the toys we use every day: what materials are they made of, how they are produced and what impact they have on the environment. This will not be a theoretical lesson, but a hands-on, interactive experience that encourages us to look at objects with new eyes and imagine more conscious and sustainable choices. Discover the hidden side of toys with Bocconi researchers Nicola Misani, Nicoletta Corrocher and Mario Scarpa.

"Energy communities"
Imagine a group of citizens, businesses or local governments that decide to join forces to produce renewable energy (with solar panels, for example) and then share it among themselves. That, in a nutshell, is the idea behind energy communities: people are not only consumers but also producers, with economic and environmental advantages. In the “Energy Communities” workshop you will learn, through a simple and engaging game, how this collaboration works: who produces, who consumes, how energy is distributed, and what concrete benefits it brings to those who participate. A simulation that makes a fundamental concept for the future of our energy system clear and immediate. Iacopo Savelli of Bocconi and Chiara Brogi, vice president of the energy community “ènostra”, will introduce you to this concept.
