A lecture about migration and welfare policies at the Johannes Kepler Universität
Tito Boeri, full professor of labour economics, is going to hold the 13th Kurt W. Rothschild Vorlesung (Kurt W. Rothschild Lecture) this evening at 6 p.m. at the Department of Economics of the Johannes Kepler Universität in Linz, Austria.
Kurt Rothschild, born in Vienna in 1914, is considered one of the leading Austrian economists of the last century. From 1942 to 2003 he published 25 books, 120 articles in scholarly journals, 115 contributions to collective books and 140 book reviews.
Boeri's lecture, Migration to the Land of Redistribution, tackles the topic of the links between immigration and welfare policies in Europe.
