Bocconi Accounting Symposium 2026: The Fourth Edition of the International Forum
Milan is preparing to host a new edition of the Bocconi Accounting Symposium, an international event dedicated to advanced research in accounting and corporate reporting. The fourth edition of the symposium will be held on June 22 and 23, 2026, at the SDA Bocconi campus.
Organized by the Department of Accounting at Bocconi University, the event aims to foster dialogue among established and emerging scholars from international universities and research centers. The event thus serves as a forum for scholarly discussion focused on the evolution and new frontiers of corporate reporting—both financial and non-financial—and its role in policy-making.
The program includes sessions for the presentation and discussion of academic papers, with a particular emphasis on innovative contributions and research addressing topics of broad relevance to the contemporary economic and financial world, from the impact of new technologies and artificial intelligence on the generation and dissemination of financial information to the effects of disclosure on markets and institutions.
In recent years, Bocconi has consolidated its role as a European hub for academic debate in accounting and finance, hosting events of international significance and strengthening the dialogue between research, institutions, and businesses. The event is part of this initiative, offering a setting focused on scientific quality and interdisciplinary exchange. The program is available on the Bocconi University website.
