SDA Bocconi MBA in Financial Times Top Ten Europe
With a drive towards internationalism and return on investment, SDA Bocconi climbed the Financial Times rankings for MBA programs. The program gained four positions in Europe, increasing to 10th place and gained ten positions worldwide, placing 28th.
Parameters where SDA Bocconi received excellent results are success in placement and career advancement, return on investment in education (the relationship between salary increases of participants and program costs), and possibilities for student international experiences. The ranking is based on 20 parameters, with data provided by schools and evaluations made by former students.
"Placement among the best international schools is our primary objective and this further improvement in the ranking is a great pleasure," explains Guido Tabellini, Rector of Università Bocconi. "These results can only be reached by continuously investing in quality research, Faculty and teaching, as Bocconi does."
The positioning in the FT ranking is a confirmation of the outstanding results obtained recently by SDA, the only Italian school present in all the most important international rankings. Starting at the beginning of the year, the MBA ranked 1st in the world in the Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranking on return on investment. At the end of 2010 the Bocconi business school was included for the first time in the Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranking, placing 18th in the world outside the United States.
"The results obtained are the product of an effort imprinted over recent years to further enhance the internationalization of our school and relations with the job market," explains Alberto Grando, Dean of SDA Bocconi. "These international recognitions allow our graduates to better valorize their educational experience on the job market, obtaining professional results and important positions all over the world."
