SDA Bocconi Hits the Top 10 Worldwide for Customized Executive Education
The high level of satisfaction of managers and businesses with the courses that SDA Bocconi School of Management organizes specifically for them is evident again this year, and has propelled the school into the ranks of the top 10 business schools in the world. In the Executive Education 2015 ranking published today by the Financial Times, SDA Bocconi takes in fact 7th place in the customized programs category, a ranking that is about 70% based on the feedback of client companies.
The ranking measures the quality of open and customized programs through various parameters, some provided by participants and businesses, others from the schools. The position in the final classification is then calculated by averaging the scores from these two distinct sets of data. In the ranking for open programs the school ranks 39th in the world and 16th in Europe, and in the overall ranking gets 16th place in the world and 10th in Europe.
"It 's very important to have further improved the ranking of customized courses. This result, based on a great team effort, comes from the improvement of almost all parameters subject to the evaluation of customers. I refer in particular to assessments on the preparation and structure of the courses, the teaching methods used, the faculty, the new skills acquired , the value for money, the objectives achieved and the future use of what was learned, "said Bruno Busacca, dean of SDA Bocconi School of Management. "The School's mission is always to co-design the courses together with customers, taking into account their specific needs, but mindful of scientific considerations emerging from studies and research on learning."
