Bocconi Celebrates Teaching Excellence at Teaching Night 2026
Held on March 30 at the Aula Franceschi, the Bocconi Teaching Night 2026 event brought together faculty and members of the Bocconi community to celebrate the achievements of professors who have distinguished themselves during the 2024/2025 academic year.
The evening opened with remarks from Rector Francesco Billari, setting the tone for a program centered on the evolving role of teaching in a rapidly changing educational landscape. The ceremony then moved into the presentation of the Students Engagement Awards, introduced by Undergraduate School Dean Chiara Fumagalli and SDA Bocconi Dean Stefano Caselli, highlighting initiatives that have successfully enhanced student participation and learning quality, followed by the Innovation in Teaching Awards, which recognize pioneering approaches across several domains, hosted by Leonardo Caporarello, Rector's Delegate for Digital Learning.
Beyond the formal award presentations, the event featured a conversation with selected award winners, offering insights into the practices and ideas shaping the future of university teaching. The evening concluded with the Rector’s closing remarks.
As in previous editions, the Teaching Night reaffirmed Bocconi’s strategic commitment to placing high-quality, innovative teaching at the core of its academic mission, recognizing it as a key driver of student success and institutional impact.
The prizes for the “Students Engagement” category went to Carlo Altomonte, Alberto Andronico, Luca Braghieri, Enrico Basile, Alessia Bezzecchi, Sandro Castaldo, Daniele Durante, Pieralberto Guarniero, Diego Jannace, Marco Lamberti, Richard Nicholas, Giuseppe Stabilini.
