Broadcasters from the University have joined up in the Ligurian town to seek out the Festival's protagonists and the many fringe events. BStudentsTV will broadcast a video every day, and four reporters from Radio Bocconi will be on the scene

A city surrounded by an onslaught of microphones and videocameras. This is Sanremo on the eve of the 64thedition of the music festival that begins on 18 February, and ends on Saturday 22 February with the announcement of the winners. Of the video reporters let loose hunting for scoops and interviews include correspondents from Radio Bocconi and BStudentsTV, who will work in the press room and on the street to create programs to be aired on a daily basis on each channel. BStudentsTV will participate in large numbers, includingSalomè Mikautadze, Aura Di Flaviano, Alessandra Procacci, Silvia Bruni, Ennio Terrasi Borghesan, Luca Introini, Ludovica Giardinelli, Gabriele Rossi andMarco Palumbowho will look for guests along the streets of the Liguria town: "We'll be in the press room," says the student leading the TV channel, Salomè Mikautadze, "as well as at Casa Sanremo, the place for interviews and entertainment not included in the Festival. We'll also be aiming to put together programs by reaching artists in the most hidden corners of Sanremo. Then, each day, we'll broadcast a video with what we filmed."

There won't be as many reporters for Radio Bocconi but they will be just as intense. "There will be four of us," explains the head of the group,Francesco Picchio, "I'll be there withMatteo Cortinovis, Carmela Vergadoro andAntonia Tano. We'll be working in the press room to interview artists participating in the competition, but we'll also be at SanremoCentric, an event that showcases the youngest artists and emerging bands, where Radio Bocconi is also a media partner. The Festival and fringe events will be an opportunity to get in touch with artists who we'll also invite to the University." Every day, Radio Bocconi will broadcast a Sanremo Special from 6 to 7:30pm, dedicated to comments on the previous evening "with an ironical approach to the funny and interesting facts that are always part of Sanremo," says Francesco Picchio.
