Loneliness and Madness on Stage with Gruppo Teatro Bocconi
A series of monologues tied together by the themes of loneliness and madness: it is Soli V3.0, the play by Gruppo Teatro Bocconi planned on November 3, at 9 pm in Aula Magna Gobbi. Marco Brambini, alumnus Bocconi, is the director and realized this performance readjusting a set of monologues. The play, at its third edition, was the first one played in an external location, La Fabbrica di Villadossola theatre, in 2003. "Soli was born from our wish to put our favorite authors together and to represent the complexity of the human universe", says Margherita Leder, scenery assistant. "This play was put on stage for the first time 10 years ago, so we decided to honor our past by re-performing it at University". Soli is described as a succession of dreamlike visions, during which the protagonist will explore himself and his condition and, in the end, with the evocation of fire, everything will be clarified.
Micol Bonetti, at her second year of Cles (Economics and Social Sciences), is one of the actors. "There is a protagonist, Frank, and other phantom-like characters, all tied by a strong sense of loneliness", she explains, "my character's name is Artista and she criticizes the system, because it's dominated by machines".
"I wanted to attend an acting academy" continues Micol "but in the end I decided to study economics at Bocconi where I was glad to find also a good theatrical dimension, where I have played for two years".
Gruppo Teatro Bocconi was born in 1993 on an idea by the director himself and Arianna Brioschi, alumna and Marketing Professor. It is a creative and active reality in the Bocconian cultural scenario. Many students like Micol and ex-students like Niccolò Asciutto, acting in the show as the protagonist, are actively involved in the group projects not only as actors, but also as spectators.
Other actors playing: Riccardo Barchiesi, Caterina Micoloni, Giovanni Rindone, Daniela Benevento, Alessia Menichetti and Sara Bonatti. Director assistant: Linda Rinaldo. Costume designer: Nives Tagliaferri.
