A Concert for Graduation Awards

Thursday 17 May at 9 pm in the Aula Magna of Via Gobbi 5 is the date for the presentation of the 2017 Fondazione Achille and Giulia Boroli graduation prizes, and the piano concert by Mattia Mistrangelo

Two events in a single evening: the awarding of the 2017 graduation prizes of the Fondazione Achille and Giulia Boroli and the piano concert by Mattia Mistrangelo, The events will be held on Thursday 17 May starting at 21.00 in the Great Hall of Via Gobbi 5.

The awards will be presented by Antonella Carù, Director of Bocconi University Graduate School and Marcella Boroli Balestrini, vice president, Fondazione Achille and Giulia Boroli.

A native of Milan, MATTIA MISTRANGELO has always been interested in music and began studying piano at a very early age. A student under Ottavio Minola, he graduated from the "G. Verdi" Conservatory in Milan with honors and honorable mention. The first person in Italy to achieve a graduate degree in music, he also completed a diploma in Experimental Composition that same year after studying under Bruno Zanolini. He was honored by the academic institutions by receiving the prestigious "Cultural Award" at that time. After continuing his musical education with Gerhard Oppitz at the Hochschule in Munich and the "Alfred Cortot" École Normale in Paris with
Jean-Marc Luisada, he attended seminars and masterclasses with Kostantin Bogino. In 2010, he graduated from Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with honors, under the guidance of Sergio Perticaroli. Since his debut, he has won scholarships and awards at various national and international competitions. He has performed as a soloist in leading halls across Italy (including the Cappella Paolina in the Quirinal Palace in Rome live on RAI Radio 3 in 2015), as well as abroad in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Sweden, Slovenia, Serbia and the United States (Massachusetts, Florida and Maryland). He graduated with honors with a degree in Modern and
Contemporary History from the University of Milan. He teaches piano at the "Santa Cecilia" Conservatory in Rome and the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali "F. Vittadini" in Pavia. He also plays as an accompanist at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory in Milan.
