Michele Brescia began conducting in 1990, in his early twenties. He was trained under the leadership of Emilio Pomarico and later with Aldo Ceccato.

He has composed pieces for flute quintets, chamber and symphonic orchestras, choirs and various formations from duets to octets. He is currently the director of the Civica Scuola di Musica di Cesano Boscone (MI) and since July 2013 he has been Artistic Director and Conductor of the choir of the Choralia Musical Association.

The choir of the Choralia Musical Association, founded in the spring of 2005, represents an ideal continuation of the Eikon choir, which disbanded in 2004 after a period of more than 10 years on the Milan musical scene. Interested in rediscovering pieces of musicological interest, the choir mixes classical pieces by composers such as Mozart, Bach, Pergolesi, Vivaldi, Boccherini, Tallis, Handel and Lotti with the study of unknown works or pieces that are not often performed such as Francesco Durante's Requiem and Psalms, Domenico Scarlatti's short mass La Stella, David Perez's Stabat Mater, Domenico Cimarosa's Litanies and Salve Regina, as well as the rediscovery of composers such as Tommaso Traetta. In January 2015, a delegation of the choir performed Misa a Buenos Aires at Carnegie Hall in New York. Since June 2014, it has participated in the Make Music Milan review and since 2015 it has participated in the "Segni di Bellezza" musical season at the Basilica di Sant'Eustorgio.
