At Bocconi, School of Central Committee of Chinese Communist Party Meets Italian Business

Economic reforms and the policy of openness were the focus of the meeting between the Party School's delegation and representatives of the Italian business community and civil society. Bocconi's President, Rector and Chief Executive welcomed the guests at the University

During their Italian visit, the high-level delegation of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party met with several representatives of the Italian business community and civil society at a meeting organized by Università Bocconi. The delegation was led by Li Jingtian, the School's Executive Vice President. The future direction of the policy of economic reforms and trade openness, and the path taken toward the peaceful development of China were among the issues discussed by Li Jingtian.

Mario Monti, Guido Tabellini and Bruno Pavesi, President, Rector and Chief Executive of Bocconi, respectively, welcomed the delegation at the University. - About CCPS

The Central Committee Party School (CCPS) was established in 1933 in Ruijin, in the Jiangxi Province. Mao Zedong and Hu Jintao were among its presidents. China's Vice-President Xi Jinping currently holds the position of president of the School. CCPS has trained more than 50,000 medium and high-ranking officials since 1978. All Chinese officials, including provincial party chiefs, governors, ministers, generals, as well as mid-level functionaries who have just taken up their posts, must receive training from CCPS, ranging from three months to three years.
