After recognizing CEMS once again, the Master of Science in International Management, which was launched 4 years ago, debuts in the rankings at 33rd place in the world

For the first time two Bocconi programs have been included in this year's Financial Times rankings for master programs in management. In addition to the CEMS Master (which is in second place), a master for which Bocconi is a founding partner, the program in International Management, which was launched just 4 years ago, has debuted in this year's rankings, placing 33rd in the world. (The rankings refer to students who graduated 3 years ago, who were the first graduates of the program).

This is yet another positive result, in addition to the QS rankings that place Bocconi 48th in the world amongst social sciences and management universities, jumping up 20 spots in just one year.

More specifically, the International Management program, where 35% of students are international, achieved 12th place for placement and 13th for international mobility.

"Receiving two recognitions in the same ranking is not only a reason to take pride, but, more importantly, it is a sign that the road on which we have embarked is the right one," explains Rector Guido Tabellini. "The FT rankings recognize two of Bocconi's fundamental assets. First of all, the internationalization of our programs translate into more opportunities to study and intern abroad, more international students and faculty in the classroom and more classes in English. Secondly, our link with the job market is supported by the 5,000 employers QS interviewed who place Bocconi 21st in the world."

The first Italian university to be included in international rankings (in addition to FT lists, Bocconi is the only Italian university always included in those published by The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The Economist and BusinessWeek), Bocconi has upheld its leadership in Italy and its advancement on the international scene. In this year's FT rankings, the MBA achieved first place in Italy, 14th in Europe and 38th in the world.
