3D Printing, a New Industrial Revolution?
How and how much will the advent of 3D printing revolution our systems of manufacturing and consumption and models of competition and patents? The topic of the real impact which can be expected in the short and medium term will be at the heart of the speech by Richard D'Aveni, Bakala Professor of Strategy at the Tuck School of Business, on Friday 23 at 4.30pm in Bocconi, in occasion of the third edition of the Helsinn Lecture.
The Helsinn Lecture Series originated in 2013 thanks to the desire of Riccardo Braglia, Helsinn CEO and Bocconi graduate, to offer the Bocconi community an annual event with a high-profile international speaker to reflect on topics of life sciences, management challenges and technology impacts in today economic environment.
The lecture by D'Aveni, on the topic 'The Greatest Hypercompetitive Weapon of All Time. 3D Printing and the Future of Manufacturing', will be introduced by Ferdinando Pennarola, of the Department of Management and Technology, and will be followed by a debate with faculty and students.
