How to start an internship

For activating an internship, both curricular or extracurricular, the University provides an Internship Agreement, a document signed by the legal representatives of the University, the Employer, and the intern, containing the rights and obligations of the parties, of which the individual training project is an integral part. The Internship Agreement is an indispensable document that is made available on JobGate before the start of each internship.

How to start an internship

The typical procedure for activating a curricular internship involves the following steps:

1) Registration on JobGate (if the company is not already registered)

2) Request for activation: the company requests the activation of the internship on JobGate, entering the candidate's Bocconi ID  number and filling out the educational project.

3) Intern confirmation: the intern reviews the educational project and accepts it.

4) Start of the internship: the University verifies and approves the educational project, activates the internship, and issues the Internship Agreement on JobGate, which must be signed by the company and the intern and returned to the University for signature.
