DETERMINING PROFESSIONAL LEVEL FOR TAX REGIME
The new on-line procedure for determining one's professional level for the tax regime, which substitutes complicated paperwork, must be utilized by all external collaborators of any title (professionals, those with contracts similar to full-time amployees, and ongoing and temporary collaborators). In this way it is possible to provide one's personal data at any time from any place, adding and changing to it as needed.
With this procedure the Administration and Finance Service will have correct and easy-to-read data, making it easier to manage information and payments in a more efficient and timely manner.
The first on-line communication of personal data must be completed by all collaborators of the university starting from 1.1.2006; any changes to the data should be updated.
To access the on-line form you must obtain a username and password from the office (Institute or Research Centre) you work for. After first access, the program will ask you to provide a new username and personal password, which you can then use to update or check any personal data which previously enterd.
The interactive form will guide you through simple and quick steps as you fill out all personal, tax and social secutity data, as well as bank information, in order to have payments made to your account.
For ongoing and temporary collaborators (coordinati/continuativi and occasionali), the procedure requires two different stages for providing information. After the personal and bank information sections are filled out, the appropriate secretariat will send the request for collaboration (RdC) to the office involved, which will proceed to assign the collaboration into one of the two types listed above, according to the work entailed.
Once this is done, an e-mail is sent to the collaborator with a link to his or her personal homepage, where there is a button to open the form and complete the profile. A few days may pass between the first stage and the second.
