Two Bocconi graduates, Riccardo Soddu and Davide Roveda, are among the 33 winners of grants from the Ermenegildo Zegna Founder's Scholarship for the 2016/2017 academic year. This financial support program provides funding for the international specialization of Italian graduate students who intend to return to Italy after the end of their studies at prestigious universities and research centers worldwide.

"I'm attending a Master of Philosophy in Economics at Oxford University," says Riccardo Soddu, 27, from Como, who earned his undergrad degree from Bocconi in Economics and Social Sciences plus a Master of Science in Finance. "It is a program of two years, and possibly three more for a doctorate and proper research. It is a path leading to jobs at central banks, in academia or in international institutions ".

A different route, with very different purposes and job opportunities, is the one chosen by Davide Roveda, from Pavia. Also 27, and also with a degree in Economics and Social Sciences and MSc in Finance, Davide is working on an MBA in Paris, at Insead. "Before, I was at Bain working on debt restructuring, but in the future I would like to gain experience in private equity, or directly in companies involved in the Made in Italy industry. Or, if I find the right idea, start a company myself. "
