Filippo Gori is the 2026 Alumnus of the Year. Awards Will Also Be Given to Anna Fiscale and Giada Zhang

Filippo Gori is the 2026 Alumnus of the Year. Along with him, Anna Fiscale has been named the Bocconi Alumni Community Changemaker Alumna and Giada Zhang Emerging Leader Alumna.

The three awards will be presented on 23 October 2026, a celebration of Alumni who — in various phases of their careers and very different fields — have been able to translate the education they received at Bocconi into leadership, innovation and the ability to make a tangible impact on businesses and society.

“The paths of Filippo Gori, Anna Fiscale and Giada Zhang represent three different, yet complementary ways to be Alumni of Bocconi,” states Silvia Candiani, President of the Bocconi Alumni Community. “Filippo has reached new heights in global finance while maintaining a leadership style based on accountability and a focus on people. Anna has demonstrated that social inclusion, sustainability and competitiveness can reinforce one another. And Giada has turned an entrepreneurial vision into an international business, bridging cultures and markets. Their impact goes beyond their professional achievements — it extends to the opportunities they create for others and the contributions they make to the community.”

Filippo Gori, Italian Leadership at the Forefront of Global Finance

Filippo Gori graduated with honors in Political Economics from Bocconi University in 1999. He is currently Co-Head of Global Banking at J.P. Morgan in New York, leading the company’s global Investment Banking, Commercial Banking and Corporate Banking operations serving businesses and institutions around the world.

He joined the bank immediately after graduating and spent his entire career within the group, assuming increasing responsibilities in Europe and Asia, eventually leading the EMEA region and holding top-level positions in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2021, he received the Order of the Star of Italy from the President of the Republic for his service to the country over the course of an international career spanning more than 20 years.

This year’s Alumnus of the Year award recognizes a career that, over the years, has taken a Bocconi graduate to the highest echelons of international finance through expertise, a global vision and the ability to lead complex organizations. This impact is measured not only by the positions held, but also by a leadership style based on listening, sincerity and respect for others.

In recent years, together with his wife Silvia Pezzini, Gori has further strengthened his relationship with the University by supporting initiatives for students through Friends of Bocconi and by contributing to the development of future generations.

Anna Fiscale, Business as a Tool for Inclusion 

Anna Fiscale, who graduated with honors in Economics of Public Administration and International Institutions in 2012, has been named Changemaker Alumna.

In 2013, after working on development projects in both India and Haiti, she founded Quid — a social enterprise that recovers surplus textiles and creates job opportunities for people in precarious situations. Her personal experience gave rise to a business model that integrates environmental sustainability, inclusion and competitiveness.

Under her guidance, Quid has become a leader in social innovation and the circular economy, collaborating with leading “Made in Italy” companies. In 2020, Fiscale was named a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. She is also a member of the Advisory Committee for Impact Enterprises established by the Ministry of Enterprise and of “Made in Italy.”

Her career is a testament to how a business’s success can also be measured by its ability to restore dignity, nurture talents often excluded from the market, and create new opportunities.

Giada Zhang, a New Generation of International Entrepreneurship

Giada Zhang, who graduated in 2017 with a degree in International Economics and Management, has been named Emerging Leader Alumna.

After gaining some finance experience in London as well as in consulting, she co-founded Mulan Group in late 2018 — where she now serves as CEO — with the goal of introducing authentic Asian dishes produced in Italy to European homes. 

Under her leadership, Mulan has grown from a regional company into a European, omnichannel group operating in mass retail, food services and digital channels. Products are available in over 15,000 retail locations across Europe. 

Zhang also founded Women in Finance, the first Italian nonprofit organization dedicated to women in the field. She is also a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Italy-China Chamber of Commerce. 

This award recognizes her ability to transform identity, tradition and multiculturalism into a scalable business venture, creating economic value and fostering dialogue between Italy, China and international markets.

With these three awards, the Bocconi Alumni Community acknowledges accomplishments that demonstrate how leadership and professional success can translate into a broader impact — on organizations, people, communities and future generations.
