Valentina Bosetti Appointed IEFE's Substitute Director Pro-Tempore

Until the director, Michele Polo, returns from a leave

Valentina Bosetti, associate professor at the Department of Economics, has been appointed substitute director pro-tempore of IEFE, the Centre for Research on Energy and Environmental Economics and Policy, until August 31, 2013.

Bosetti will cover the role of Michele Polo while he's on leave.

A Bocconi professor since September 2012, Bosetti taught at Università degli Studi Milano Bicocca and Università di Sassari and published several papers about the issues of environmental and resources economics, with a special focus on energy and climate change.

She is currently the principal investigator of project ICARUS (Innovation for Climate Change Mitigation: a Study of Energy R&D, Its Uncertain Effectiveness and Spillovers), funded by European Research Council (ERC) for the years 2010-2013.
