The assistant professor takes the Prix d'Economie from the Academie des Sciences

Anna Simoni, assistant professor at Bocconi's Department of Decision Sciences, has been awarded the Prix d'Economie by Toulouse's Academie des Sciences Inscriptions et Belles Lettres for Bayesian Analysis of Linear Inverse Problems with Applications in Economics and Finance, her PhD thesis, discussed at the Toulouse School of Economics.

Every year the Toulouse's Academie awards sciences' and humanities' researchers with prizes aimed at "encouraging young talents".

Simoni's work can be applied to microeconomics and finance, especially in portfolio allocation problems.

The prize will be handed out on December, 5.
