Rodolfo Baggio Vice-President of IFITT
The board of the International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) has appointed Rodolfo Baggio (Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management) Vice-President of the federation for a two-year term.
IFITT is an independent global community for the discussion, exchange and development of knowledge about the use and impact of new information and communication technologies in the travel and tourism industry.
Established in 1997 and based in Innsbruck, Austria, IFITT can boast of more than 300 members among academics and professionals from all around the world, but with a prevalence of Western Europe.
IFITT aims at networking eTourism stakeholders and nurturing eTourism innovation, exploration and knowledge through workshops, publications and events such as the ENTER international conference, which celebrated its 20th edition in 2012.
Rodolfo Baggio is also the president of IFITTItaly, the Italian chapter of the federation.
