Rebuilding the Economy: Topic for Costamagna Before the BAA

From a public savings bank to the Italian National Promotional Institution for the country and its companies, with a strategic business plan that looks towards 2020. Claudio Costamagna, Chairman of the CDP and 2004 Bocconian of the Year, will discuss this topic at dinner with members of the Bocconi Alumni Association. The event will be held on 2 May, as part of the Dinner Speeches series.

Founded in Turin in 1850, seven years ago Cassa Depositi e Prestiti experienced a real revolution: thanks to the 2009 reform, the CDP was able to use postal bonds to finance companies, infrastructure and social housing. Costamagna will discuss projects supporting public organizations and restoring international cooperation; areas of intervention to generate a change of pace in infrastructure development, while at the same time protecting the environment and energy efficiency; the support of companies during their entire life cycle, through turnaround market development, attracting foreign capital and increasing exports.
