Pollicino Discusses Web Governance in the Italian Chamber of Deputies
The Bocconi faculty member will discuss the recently approved Declaration of Internet Rights and Duties, along with the former Data Protection Authority Stefano Rodotà. Oreste Pollicino, Associate Professor in the Department of Legal Studies at Bocconi and expert in media law, will speak on 12 October in the Italian Chamber of Deputies. The 2015 Italy Internet Governance Forum is promoted by the United Nations as a meeting place for debate on the issues of internet governance.
"The newly-created Declaration of Internet Rights and Duties, requested by Chamber President Laura Boldrini and coordinated by Stefano Rodotà, represents an important step in the debate on governing the internet," explains Pollicino. "The discussion on what impact it will have is one of the main issues of this edition of the forum."
